My Life’s redemption
Spiritual
A Purge and rebirth in ecstasy
The Soul’s ascension
From the groundwork filth
The reclamation
Of Strength and will
One spiral motion
Our breath entwined
Let the moon cast shadows
By the lambent flame
A change in pattern
Metaphysical
This evolution
Now Visual
The flooding of my earth
Cleansing
Spirit finds solace
In the sounds of wind
A major movement
Through root and iron
Conquer all
Revel the venom
The Expiation
The cleansing of…

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
Such a stellar album to start the fall. In both senses of the word.
Apart from that, best incorporation of field recordings into music I've ever heard in my life. And by The Big Goose in the Sky, these drums. YomaBarr
If “atmospheric black metal” implies majestic comedowns and dramatic dynamics, this powerhouse instead constitutes anti-atmospheric black metal. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 23, 2021
